Amelie's - a french bakery

Amelie's_bust

Saturday I met my girlfriend Kathleen at Amelie's (in Charlotte) for a late brunch. I ordered a brie, turkey & raspberry jelly on baguette sandwich, after Kathleen said that's what she was getting - it sounded too good to pass up. Afterwards we both got coffees and shared a lemon treat. (Oh! And we got lemon rosemary iced teas!)

It is the coolest little cafe with different types of eclectic decor, shabby couches & wild chandeliers. A French salon! I took some pictures, if you'd like to see :)

(Get ready for some gratuitous pastry photos!)

So wish I had this for our house.
