Hi! I'm Hope and this is my website. I am 30 years old. I like to write about: motherhood, lifestyle, cooking, cocktails or whatever, really. I love the feedback I get from this site.
I live in Columbia, South Carolina via: Georgia, Virginia (near DC), Virginia (Blackburg! Hokies!) and most recently, Alabama.
I majored in English from Virginia Tech, graduated with no idea what to do, held down a number of soul-sucking jobs and am now a stay-at-home-mom to Truett (2) and soon-to-be baby number 2 (due February, 2012).
This website was begun, and remains, mainly because of my incessant need for attention and self-centered nature. And because I like to write. No love, love to write.
And oh! The name. I mention the story behind Grape Did It in one of my posts but to summarize: when I was very young I blamed everything on grape. No, really. WHO DROPPED FLOUR ALL OVER THE KITCHEN FLOOR? Grape, he did it. Who tried to flush a cardboard toilet paper roll down the toilet? Grape! Yes he DID! Grape DID IT!
