My new favorite nail polish color
A few weeks ago I noticed a really pretty, dark red nail polish on my girlfriend's nails. It made me realize I hadn't painted my nails in what felt like forever, and I love the polished feeling of a manicure. When we were little, my sisters and I would point and gesture at everything after we'd had our nails painted and I still get that little thrill today when my hands feel finished :)
I knew I wanted a dark red, but still a true red, not a burgundy (my normal go-to) or a pale pink (my other go-to). Not fire engine, but bright and attention getting. So I cruised the nail polish aisle and found - Revlon's Valentine! (I know, seriously. I almost didn't buy it for the name because I seem to be going on and on about Valentine's Day this year).
I love the color. True red - no pink or orange tones - and it dried fast + has worn well (which is saying a lot due to all of the baby wrangling + cooking I do). I'm on day four and yes, my nails are chipped but not badly.

Seeing your other post with newborn June made me come back here to see what colour the polish is in this post. I rarely paint my nails, but I need a little colour to get me through the rest of winter!
