Friday tidbits

Happy weekend, everyone! It bears noting on the picture above, I rarely, if ever, wear brightly colored lipstick. But last weekend after a birthday breakfast for one of my girlfriends we decided to pop by Ulta for some makeup. On a whim I tried on a bright pink and loved it! I always thought my most stylish days were behind me when I turned 30, but there's something liberating about being older. Bring on the bright!

Anyway - Juniebug and I are off on our Birmingham adventure in a few hours and I could not be more excited to eat, drink & have girl talk. And maybe hit up some yard sales if the weather holds! Truett's a little weepy at the thought of my leaving so that is making it a bit harder ): I believe he and Bud will have a wonderful, rugged weekend though and he'll forget all about my trip after I'm out the door.

Thanks Marlee! June was an AMAZING travel partner. I kept waiting for the high maintenance behavior and she was like, just chillin in the backseat playin with my toes.
