The simplest way to organize & display jewelry

Remember my girlfriend Sarah, who recently redid her guest room? Well, she told me about a simple & cool way her sister Mary's organizes her jewelry :) Mary sent me some photos and agreed that I could share the idea here!

First you gather your supplies - only two things - twine & thumbtacks. (I love a short materials list).

And then you make this.

(You can distribute thumb tacks periodically to accomodate more weight).

What'd you think? It would cost pennies & you could expand it to fit any size jewelry collection. If you like keeping your things tucked away you could put it on a closet wall or, if you love the way your things look displayed, put it on an easy-to-see wall! I love it! Thank you for sharing, Mary!

And that's the cheapest way. If you want to splurge with a few more pennies, you can either buy or make your own decorative push pins if you are displaying it on the wall of a room with a theme.
