Fudgy pops
About a year ago I linked to a recipe for fudge pops. They are, admittedly, delicious, but I got to thinking the other day that there has got to be an easier way. A whatever-I-have-in-the-kitchen kind of way because really that's the only way I'll make them with any regularity.
So I began tumping things into a small pot: powdered cocoa, half and half, chocolate chips, a little sugar & some milk. Let it cool and then poured them into dixie cups with a popsicle stick in each cup (for the handle). I didn't bother waiting until they were semi-firm to make sure the sticks stuck into the middle of the cup, rather we ate the pops off of wonky sideways sticks.
They were DECADENT. Fudgy and rich and somehow also refreshing. I wouldn't worry much about proportions, you'll know because you'll keep eating some off the spoon while it all melts together in the pot.
These are perfect for keeping in the freezer for a hot summer afternoon, and the drippy chins make for the sweetest pictures :)
