Hope, Truett compares just fine, so stop worrying!
A LOT of factors figure into size and shape and every baby is different. Don't let it stress you out sooooooo much!!!
Hell, I have (faternal)twins and they are dramatically from each other. They came home from the hospital at 4lbs. 14oz, 17.5 inches and 6lbs, 19 inches respectively. I got a ton of questions...a lot of folks wanting to know if something was wrong with them because they were so small and was there a medical reason that one was so much smaller and/or larger than the other. By 5 weeks Joey was 6 lbs 14 oz and 19.5 inches long...he looks like Nate and has a smaller build like his side of the family. Collin was 8 lbs 2 oz and 22 inches long...he looks like Sammy and is bigger/taller and has a much larger build like my side of the family. So now I get even more questions/comments (including are they really twins, is one adopted, did I have them both, what's wrong with a specific baby)...it's just how people are...NOSEY and want to put in their two cents. Ignore it!!!
In the end, it doesn't matter, they turn out they way they turn out....and often is not how it appears (as babies) he/she will grow-up to be. Sammy was average length and chubby when he was a baby....I thought he would have a big build like my dad's family and be a average hieght...yet he turned out tall and skinny as a rail. Ayesha was sooooo short it was unreal(up until 3 or 4), though well proportioned, we thought for sure she was gonna be a midget....yet by the time she passed away (a month shy of her 17th birthday), she was taller than me. I'm sure most parents with grown children will tell you the same scenerios with their kids.
I'm sure it will be no different with Truett...and MAYBE he gets his build from your side of the family (Summer's genetics) and is just gonna have a slimmer/more petite build than you or Bud (not that either of you are big).
As long as he continue to grow and thrive, I wouldn't let it get to me. He's an adorable little guy who's bound to bring a lot of happines to your lives. Just chalk peoples comments up to jealousy and smuggly move on!

Thanks Becky. It's good to hear your perspective, esp since you've got twins close in age to Truett! I am trying to let it roll off my shoulders - I think mostly he is just skinny. But I could set my watch by the fact that people comment on him being small EVERY time we go out.

The do that with Joey too because he's so little, he's not even in NB clothes yet, and Collin is HUGE (in NB heading to 0 to 3 mths)compared to him. I got to the point where I just ignore them most of the time!

Ann told me today Will was just like that. Jill could hardly go anywhere until he got a little older b/c he screamed when he was put in his car seat. How about that for heredity?!
