I could not find a good angle for the camera in order to present the room as a whole, so I first took a picture that emphasizes our new BADASS curtains, courtesy of Bud's mother, and then I spun around in a slow circle snapping shots of the entire room.
Behold the curtains that might have shortened my life when I realized a. how expensive curtains are and then b. how expensive EVEN JUST THE FABRIC IS HOLY GOD.
Changing table etc. I found a coupon for diapers and then some wipes on sale. PEOPLE. This is exciting housewivery.
I have half a mind to put a baby doll in the crib because it looks so cool and crisp and inviting that SOMETHING has to feel the love.
Last night, as Bud mounted the curtains and muttered obscenities, I helpfully blasted Man In The Mirror. I know, I know, we're all SO OVER MJ's death.
OH. I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait.
I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are getting soooo close!!! Yay - I can't wait wait wait!!!
The nursery looks awesome...so you and modern but cozy and cute. The curtains are amazing. You def. could use them over french doors, living room, children's room down the road - GREAT choice!!

Oh the only thing I think I would do (since you asked and all) is move Bud's little rocker to the right of the changing table...=)

I agree, except that you won't get much natural light there. On the other hand, how much do you need at 4:00 in the morning?
Hope, you have done a magnificent job on the nursery. Your curtains (kudos to Bonnie, aka MIL) coordinate perfectly with your artwork and the rug. Impressive.
